2008 Toyota 4runner Review - a Review of the 2008 Toyota 4runner Suv

The 2008 Toyota 4Runner is both tech-savvy and reliable, with several new features that offer safety and practicality. Impressive new features include the 4Runner’s rear-seat DVD entertainment system with rear audio remote control, RCA jacks and two wireless headphones for the passengers. There’s also tire pressure monitoring that alerts the drive when levels are critically low.

The 2008 Toyota 4Runner offers several standard safety standard features, including front and side curtain airbags and Vehicle Stability Control, which his designed to aid the driver under adverse road conditions. Its traction control and electronic brake force distribution help to make the 4Runner one of the safest SUVs on the road. Too, it keeps the family in mind with child-protector rear door locks and window lockout and child restraint system, which includes anchors and tether brackets.

Beam headlamps and a power tilt/slide moonroof with noise-reduction technology and sunshade add to the sleek appearance of the 4Runner, while hill assist controls add to convenience on this model.

Interior comfort is provided by the 4Runner’s climate control with rear ventilation and air filtration, and a 60/40 split fold-down second-row bench seat. The 4Runner also comes standard with an AM/FM CD with six speakers, in-glass FM diversity antenna and MP3/WMA playback capability. Bluetooth capabilities with wireless technology, satellite radio, and a DVD navigation system and rear backup camera also are available.

Toyota includes a multi-information display with time, fuel consumption, cruise range and temperature data. However, its 236-horse power, V6-engine, or 260-horse power, V8 engines prove that the 4Runner is powerful as well as practical.

Toyota’s 2008 4Runner is a vehicle that brings together affordability, safety and technology, making it a hard SUV to pass by this year.
